By accessing or using ZUZUStay ("App", "Service", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Description of Service

ZUZUStay is a property management platform designed for:

• Paying Guest (PG) owners
• Hostel operators
• Rental property managers
• Coliving operators
• Property administrators
• Authorized property management personnel

Services may include:

• Property management
• Room management
• Tenant management
• Occupancy tracking
• Rent tracking
• Payment status tracking
• Check-in and check-out management
• Tenant blocklist management
• Notifications and reminders
• Reporting and analytics

ZUZUStay is intended for business and property management purposes and is not intended as a consumer credit, lending, insurance, healthcare, employment, governmental, or financial advisory service.

2.1 Usage Limits and Property Approval

Certain features of the Service may be subject to usage limits, including but not limited to:

• Number of properties
• Number of rooms
• Tenant records
• Storage usage
• Feature availability

Additional access, extended limits, or continued usage beyond certain thresholds may require administrative review or approval.

We reserve the right to approve, reject, suspend, restrict, remove, or limit any account, property, content, or feature access that violates these Terms, applicable laws, operational requirements, or platform policies.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating and maintaining an account.

Account registration is performed through mobile number verification using One-Time Password (OTP) authentication.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• Restricting unauthorized access to your account
• All activities performed under your account

You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3.3 Eligibility

ZUZUStay is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older and authorized to manage property-related information.

By using ZUZUStay, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
• You are authorized to use the application.
• You have authority to act on behalf of any business, property, organization, or entity you represent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Upload false, inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Upload information without proper authorization
• Access systems, accounts, or data without permission
• Use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Introduce malware, viruses, harmful code, or security threats
• Interfere with App functionality or operations
• Impersonate any person, organization, or entity
• Circumvent platform limitations, controls, or approvals

5. User Data Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of uploaded information
• The legality of uploaded information
• The completeness of uploaded information
• Obtaining all required permissions and consents
• Compliance with applicable privacy and data protection laws

This includes but is not limited to:

• Tenant information
• Tenant photographs
• Property records
• Property photographs
• Payment records
• Occupancy information
• Check-in and check-out records
• Blocklist information
• Contact information
• Uploaded documents

Users represent and warrant that they have obtained all required permissions, notices, and consents before uploading or managing personal information through ZUZUStay.

Users are responsible for ensuring that any blocklist information or tenant-related information entered into the Service is lawful, accurate, and necessary for legitimate property management purposes.

Users are responsible for complying with all applicable privacy, tenancy, housing, and data protection laws when collecting, uploading, storing, or managing tenant information through ZUZUStay.

6. Free Service and Future Paid Features

ZUZUStay is currently provided as a free service.

We reserve the right to introduce:

• Paid plans
• Subscription services
• Premium features
• Usage-based pricing
• Additional service offerings

Any applicable fees, pricing, or subscription terms will be communicated before they take effect.

7. Privacy

Your use of ZUZUStay is governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that information may be collected, processed, stored, and used as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App remain the exclusive property of ZUZUStay and its licensors.

This includes:

• Software
• Source code
• Features
• Functionality
• User interfaces
• Logos
• Branding
• Graphics
• Designs
• Text
• Documentation

Users may use the App solely for its intended purpose.

Users may not:

• Copy or reproduce the App
• Modify or create derivative works
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Remove proprietary notices
• Use our trademarks without permission
• Commercially exploit the Service without authorization

Use of the Service does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights.

9. User Content

Users retain ownership of information and content uploaded to the Service.

By uploading content, you grant ZUZUStay a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Backup

such content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, securing, and improving the Service.

You remain solely responsible for all uploaded content.

10. Device Features and Permissions

Certain features of ZUZUStay may require access to device capabilities such as the camera, photos or media library, notifications, and phone functionality.

These permissions are requested only when necessary to provide specific features and may be managed through your device settings. Some functionality may be unavailable if the required permissions are denied.

11. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

We may at any time:

• Modify features
• Add or remove functionality
• Restrict access
• Suspend services
• Perform maintenance
• Discontinue certain features

without liability and, where reasonably possible, with appropriate notice.

12. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, disable, or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms
• Violate applicable laws
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Create security risks
• Abuse the platform
• Upload unauthorized content
• Cause harm to the Service or other users

Users may discontinue use of the Service at any time.

13. Account Deletion

Users may submit an account deletion request through the application's Delete Account feature.

Deletion requests may be reviewed to:

• Prevent fraud
• Prevent unauthorized account removal
• Ensure platform security
• Prevent misuse of the Service
• Comply with legal obligations

Deletion requests may require up to 30 days to complete.

During this period, users may be able to restore their account by logging in and using the available account retrieval functionality.

If the request is not withdrawn before completion, account deletion may result in removal of:

• User profile information
• Properties
• Rooms
• Tenant records
• Payment information
• Occupancy records
• Check-in and check-out records
• Blocklist records
• Uploaded photographs
• Related account data

Certain information may be retained where required by law, security obligations, dispute resolution requirements, fraud prevention activities, or legitimate business purposes.

14. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF:

• MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• AVAILABILITY
• ACCURACY
• RELIABILITY
• SECURITY

WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZUZUSTAY AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, REPRESENTATIVES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

• The amount paid by you for the Service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim; or
• INR 1,000.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ZUZUStay, its owners, employees, affiliates, and representatives from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, expenses, or costs arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your uploaded content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of applicable laws
• Claims involving tenant information, property information, or personal data uploaded by you

17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Updated versions will be published within the App and/or on our website together with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the Service after such updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
